It has been suggested that Personalized Learning includes: 'high expectation of every child, given practical form by high quality teaching based on a sound knowledge and understanding of each child's needs. Personalized Learning can galvanize professional energies in schools through its focus on learners and learning, and produce a step change in the quality of educational provision. Personalized Learning seems to consist of five core elements supplemented by an enormous but loosely defined range of policies and practices.

5. Strong partnership beyond the school to drive forward progress in the classroom, to remove barriers to learning and to support pupil well-being

Collaborative Workshop


The main objective for this collaborating workshop was to made the facilitators feel confident in their approach and delivery of their practices. The primary Grade facilitators were allowed to go for classroom observation in the working classes, where they could observe first hand see the happening practices and the documentation implemented of the student practices. The principals and teachers workshops address three vital dimensions of school management : Academics, Administration and Leadership The philosophy of the workshop is "Learning By Doing" They are highly interactive in nature, full of 'hands-on' experience through role-plays, case study, group presentations, games, analytical instruments, questionnaires, etc

At Edify Education, have been certified by CBSE to organize and facilitate these training interventions. We have so far organized 569 such training workshops across the country, on both fronts i.e., the CBSE CCE teacher training-workshops for teachers and "Effective Leadership and School Management" workshops for the principals and Hod's and top management of the school.

Learning the CCE way (for Secondary)

Learning the CCE way 

As it is imperative for the facilitators to understand the CCE with the paradigm shift in the assessment process in the Indian education system, the need for an intensive CCE training was very much required and a two-day workshop 'Learning the CCE way' was arranged which focused on understanding the tools and techniques of formative and summative assessment, the importance of documentation and recording and also on project based learning. The program aimed to empower the facilitators to successfully implement and administer the CCE in all the Edify schools.

 MDN Edify organized a two day workshop, with an intention to unleash the potential of the school Coordinators and Mentors by providing the training, 'Being the Mentor'. The work of mentoring differs from the work of classroom teaching and is thought to require new and different skills. Mentors need preparation in ways to help novices handle their typical problems: "classroom management, basic lesson design and delivery, evaluating student progress". Since mentoring is more than passing on a "bag of tricks," mentors must be able to "describe and demonstrate underlying principles of teaching and learning". They also need to learn how to "talk clearly and straightforwardly about teaching without offending the teacher".

The two-day session focused on their professional development. It attracted the teachers who demonstrated their hope and optimism for the future by declaring their willingness to help teachers to discover the same joy and satisfaction that they have found in their own career.
